In a few days I will have the privilege of leading a Bible prophecy conference in Poland. Two years ago, I was invited to Poland to help lead a conference on revival and to preach in revival meetings in two different churches. It was a wonderful experience. The pastors and church leaders we met were hungry for God and they were seeking the Lord for revival.
On that trip, I met pastor Kamil Halambiec. Although he is a young man, God has raised up Pastor Kamil as a leader among evangelicals in Poland. God has gifted Kamil with a brilliant mind and also a heart that is on fire for God. A few months ago, Kamil, his wife Anna, and their son Nehemiah were guests in our church. Kamil preached one Sunday morning and our church fell in love with this godly family.
Kamil invited me to lead a Bible prophecy conference in his city. It is a city of seventy thousand people. His church is the only evangelical church in the entire city. For those of us who live in America, can you even imagine that? The main purpose of the conference, however, is not to share information about prophecy. The main desire of our hearts is that the Lord will use the conference to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:10 states that the purpose of prophecy, the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.
For several years Pastor Kamil’s church has met every morning at 5:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, in order to pray for revival and spiritual awakening in their church, city, and nation. While I was with them two years ago, the Lord gave me specific verses to pray for them. The passage is in Isaiah 26:12-15. The passage speaks of a people that had other masters over them in the past, but they are asking the Lord to establish peace for them. Poland has had many “masters” who have had dominion over them. Most notably in the twentieth century, the Nazis and the Communists. Verse fifteen reads, “You have increased the nation, O Lord, You have increased the nation: You are glorified: You have expanded the borders of the land.” (NKJV)
God has blessed Poland in recent years, but now they feel they are facing new threats. Will you join with me in praying these verses for this nation? Please pray for me as I go to teach and preach God’s Word. Pastor Kamil’s church has handed out 5,000 invitations for the conference. Pray that with all that is happening in and around Poland, God will stir up interest and hearts. Pray that God’s people will be revived and that the lost will hear the Gospel and God’s plan for the ages and be saved. Thank you for your love, prayers, encouragement, and support.
In Christ’s service,
Allen
